WHO DO YOU LOVE? No man can serve two masters No woman walk both ways at the same time We all make these decisions every day By everything we do and say So many shiny baubles So many things that sparkle in the light So many ways to sell your soul God or money, the shadow or the light Shall I be humble, or satisfy my pride? All these people crying Lord, Lord I hear them say it all the time “Look at all the things we’ve done for you’ He says, “yeah, but you’re no friend of mine” Who do you love, can you tell? You can’t love Jesus and the devil as well.

Blanket 03:47
BLANKET What are you looking for This dark and lonely night? What are you looking for With nothing but hope to give you light? While all the foolish world Closes eyes and falls asleep I know what you’re looking for It’s the same thing as me Yes it can get so cold With only the blanket of your fears And when the world gets too tough You draw it close about you to hide your tears Oh the cruel world Strips you bare for all to see And I know you feel afraid But don’t be afraid of me So you want to run away And just be someone else But there’s nowhere to run away to You just keep on meeting up with yourself But there’s another world Where we can be who we can be I know how to get there And you can come with me There’s another world Where we will see what we will see And you won’t need that blanket.

Man Of Peace 04:47
MAN OF PEACE I call on the lord in my distress I call on the lord in my distress I call on the lord in my distress And he answers me Save Me from lying lips Save me from deceitful tongues Save me Oh what will he do to you And what more besides O deceitful tongue? Like warriors' sharp arrows Like coals from the fire O deceitful tongue Woe that I dwell in this land Woe that I'm caught in this place Too long have I lived among men Who hate peace You only have to look at the movies we watch Hear the news on the radio The video games that we play To know how much we hate peace. I am a peaceful man I try to be a peaceful man But when I speak They are for war. I call on the lord in my distress And he answers me He says "I am a man of peace I am a man of peace".

Lost Sheep 03:34
LOST SHEEP I am that lost sheep out on the hillside It’s dark and it’s cold I don’t know which way is right I call your name A prodigal son out on the fast track I’m out of control and I don’t know how to turn back I call your name Far out at sea the waves rise around me I’m so afraid the world is going to drown me My life is going to drown me Don’t let the waves surround me I call your name I praise you Lord for all you have done for me.

Lazarus 03:16
Lazarus I am the resurrection and I am the life If you believe in me you will never die I am the resurrection and I roll away your stone Jesus wept, jesus wept come and see how Jesus wept see how he loved him, how Jesus wept when they rolled away the stone And he cried, “come out Lazarus!“ Now we’ve rolled away your stone Let him loose, let him go Take off those grave clothes and let them go Let him loose, let him go Now we’ve rolled away his stone. And we cry, “Come out Lazarus! Come out Lazarus!“ Now we’ve rolled away his stone.

Just As I Am 03:59
JUST AS I AM Jesus I come to you just as I am Jesus I bow my head now I understand you are my Lord, you are my God Jesus I give to you my earthly throne it was yours in the first place so come and take back your own you are my Lord, you are my God Jesus I offer you the days of my life I’ve nothing else to give so do with them as you like you are my Lord, you are my God.

One Of You 03:07
ONE OF YOU One of you will betray me tonight One of you will betray me tonight Is this how it all ends? I thought that we were friends now But one of you will betray me tonight You and I, we drink from the same cup You and I, we fill the measure up It doesn’t have to be You could walk away from me now But you and I, we drink from the same cup Through it all you know that I love you And I know that you’ve loved me too So do what you will do You know I did my best for you now And through it all you know I still love you One of you…

You Deserve 03:49
YOU DESERVE I give my body, a living sacrifice to you Lord I give my body, a living sacrifice to you Lord This is the worship, this is the worship that you deserve This is the worship, this is the worship that you deserve We are your children by water and by spirit and in truth We are your children by water and by spirit and in truth This is the worship, this is the worship that you deserve This is the worship, this is the worship that you deserve So not what I want, but only what you want o Lord So not what I want, but only what you want o Lord This is the worship, this is the worship that you deserve This is the worship, this is the worship that you deserve.

The Net 06:14
THE NET Put the net out on the other side See what you get I know you’ve been out trying all night long With really not too much to show But sometimes we just have to go again Take it from somebody who knows You put new wine into new bottles But old wine tastes better, so they say Both are good, both are nice One adds sweetness and the other spice Both are rich, both are true A little bit of either could be good for you Yes we all have wounds, yes we al have scars They’re there to teach us who we really are Yes we all have regrets, and yes we all feel pain That’s the reason we should try again There’s something out there for you it’s better than you knew.

Thank You 03:04
THANK YOU Lord I thank you for saving me Lord I thank you for saving me You suffered in my place My life is filled with grace Lord I thank you for saving me. Lord I thank you for healing me Lord I thank you for healing me You take away my pain Now I can live again Lord I thank you for healing me. Lord I thank you for loving me Lord I thank you for loving me My eyes are open wide And I am satisfied Lord I thank you for loving me.

about

As many of you will know I'm a Jesus follower & this sometimes means I get asked to sing in churches, as well as the 'secular' gigs I do. The Net is a collection of some of the songs I've been using to try & make God more relevant to our culture that's largely written religion off as irrelevant (I totaly understand why you might've done that, but it's a shame to throw the baby out with the bath-water).
